After a LONG week of watching his sisters go to school every morning, Hayden finally started back to preschool today. He was so excited. Every morning he will ask if he goes to school today, and go see "Mr. Dawn". He hasn't caught on that his teacher is Mrs. 
Dawn. This morning he put on a baseball shirt (his favorite, other than toy story and cars) and grabbed his baseball backpack. He was not happy that he didn't get to take his baseball lunchbox today. This week is half day to get the kids adjusted, so he doesn't get to eat lunch at school. We made up for that with a special lunch when he got home. Guess what he wanted? Blueberry pancakes :) On meet the teacher/parent conference day, Hayden didn't want to leave, so Mrs. Dawn let him take home two special animals - a bear and lion. She told him to make sure he brought them back on the first day of school. Of course, Hayden made sure we packed them in his backpack this morning. I think it was a bad mistake though. He wanted to be the one to take them to Mrs. Dawn, so when he walked in the room, he showed them to her, but decided he wasn't going to put them in the animal box, but was going to play with them instead. Note: He was suppose to sit in circle time and read books. Lets just say, he might have a little adjusting to do. He doesn't sit for very long periods. He wants to play cars and move around.

He was having so much fun and all smiles. That is my boy :) We are all geared up and excited about another great year at Discovery School!!!!!!
