T-ball

sweaty boy...

and out as a A!!!!

Went in as a Ranger........

One excited little boy, getting ready to go to his FIRST t-ball practice.

June 7, 2010

Today was Hayden's first t-ball practice. He was so excited. He wanted to wear his new baseball socks and pants to bed the night before. He got all decked out for his first practice... baseball socks, pants, rangers shirt, rangers hat, sunglasses and baseball cleats. He was ready to go. It turns out the other parents went with the heat 100+ and put their kids in shorts and tennis shoes. Oh well, Hayden wouldn't have had it any other way.
We got to practice and Hayden started hitting right off the bat, and "running" the bases. By the time practice actually started he was exhausted. But he held his own. He tried really hard and had fun. They practiced hitting, and catching and then running the bases. I don't have any pictures of him during practice as the parents were out on the field helping the kids. It was a lot of fun. I am so thankful I got to spend this special day with my little man. At the end of practice Hayden was dripping with sweat. He got a workout. He did not want to leave. As we were walking off, one of his team mates, Jaxon, and his parents started talking to him. They asked him what his name was.... his reply "I'm me, and this my best mama". :) He for whatever reason will not tell people his name. He always says I'm me, or I'm Hannah. He knows his name and that he is not Hannah. Silly boy!
We have 11 kids on our team (10 boys and 1 girl). I can't wait for our first game on Thursday. Hopefully Daddy gets home from Florida in time.

Madi's Birthday Dinner

Nick was out of town for business, so Sarah invited us out for Madelyn's special Birthday Dinner. She chose to go to McDonald's, and Sarah brought cupcakes for the kids. We had a good time visiting with Sarah and the kids had a great time playing with their friends. They sure love the Weaver kids. We all do!!! Happy Birthday Madelyn. We love you.

Best Friends!!!

Madelyn Weavers 5th Birthday

Sarah and the kids came over to try to get some pictures of Hayden and Sophie for birthday invitations. After our "photo shoot", we had cupcakes to celebrate Madi's special day. Then the kids started watching Hailey's First Grade Moo-sical Dvd. They were dancing and then Elijah started clapping and dancing along with them. It turns out Sarah said he had never clapped before. Too cute. I like getting see my kids and my friends kids hit new milestones. Way to go Eli. First time Elijah clapped to music on the television.

Happy 5th Birthday Madi!

Adventure World Park

Trying to make a number three with their bodies.... Didn't work.

One afternoon after school we met the Weaver kids up at Adventure World Playground in NRH. Hayden and Sophia had a blast playing together. They would walk up the slide laughing the whole time, sit at the top together and then slide back down together laughing and tickling eachother. They are so cute together.
Hannah and Madelyn spent their time searching for ladybugs, feeding them, and naming them. We had a great time, as usual and then headed back to the house to make some dinner.

Rangers Game April 25th Vs. Det

Shane took all the kids to see the Texas Rangers play Detroit . They got their early and all the kids were able to get Andruss Jerseys. They always enjoy getting to bring something cool home. Especially Hayden. His room is done in Baseball/Rangers, so it is always fun to bring back cool stuff that can go in his room. I sure like it anyways. After the game the kids got to go out and run the bases. They all really enjoy this. Since I wasn't at the game and will not be able to do it justice, I will just let you check out Shane's blog when he gets it started and all the baseball games that Hayden goes to will be blogged. I will keep you informed when it is up and officially running.

New Shoes

Hailey has been asking for Twinkle Toes- shoes that honestly 1/2 of the girls in First grade have. They are really cute. I told her that we needed to save our money and wait until she really needed shoes before we would look into getting any. It took almost 4 mths, but finally she outgrew her tennis shoes, and it was time to go looking for new shoes. The price was not bad at all for Sketchers and compared to shoes we normally buy, so off to Academy we went. Hailey got to pick out her new Twinkle Toes, and man she was so excited. They are called Twinkle Toes because they have sparkly jewels on the toes and they light up when you walk. Lets just say she wears them almost EVERY Mon, Wed, and Friday at school (PE days) along with at home and on the weekends. She loves her shoes. Her two best friends at BPES have twinkle toes as well, and they coordinate the days they are all going to wear them. Cute Cute!!

Bluebonnets April 2010

On the way home from Robert Larsen Visitation/Viewing at the funeral home we stopped and took a few quick shots of the girls in the Bluebonnets. I haven't had the opportunity to take the kids bluebonnet pictures, so I wanted to get a few. Hayden was at Mimi and Papas house with Uncle Tim and Papa, so I didn't get any shots of him. Turns out, that was for the better. It was a quick photo shoot and the girls were not interested in cooperating.
