Our tradition is to put up the Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving, but this year we are going to be in Springdale, Arkansas. So, we decided to go ahead and put it up a little early. The girls were REALLY excited. Getting ready for Christmas is always alot of fun.
Hayden wanted to help daddy out with everything (of course). When Shane was trying to tighten the tree stand (which a piece was missing too), Hayden was climbing all over his back and trying to see what was going on.
The girls got to split the ornaments and help put them all up on the tree. In the end, when no one else was watching, we had to move a "few" around. I think the bottom section had 75% of the ornaments and the top was a little bare. They did an awesome job though. We had hot chocolate before bed to calm everyone down a bit. We have good ole' Goodnight Kisses caffeine free hot cocoa. It does the trick, and its yummy.
And by the way... we FINALLY have our baby gate to guard the fireplace and the tree from our crazy little guy! :)
