The kids loved getting to watch the sheep. Hayden wanted to feed the sheep, so we headed over to the barn. I wasn't able to find any food and before I knew it, Hayden bent down on the ground and said "FOOD!". He picked up several sheep pellets (poop) off the ground. Hayden got to heard the sheep over to their pen where they get fed. He thought he was high and mighty.
I learned something new. Some of the sheep have colored markings on their back ends (some multiple). The owner put a chalk belt on the boy sheep and every time he mounted one of the females he colored her back end. That way the owner new when one was impregnated and how many chances she has to get pregnant.
