This year the girls decided they wanted to have a Gingerbread House Decorating Party. I let each one of them invite 6 friends. We had a great turn out. I was impressed. All of Hannah's friends were able to make it. One was a little late, but still came. Hailey had a good turn out as well. One of her friends had strep throat so she didn't get to come, and one parent got confused on the date (they already had fun Christmas plans). Hailey was disappointed that two of her best friends were not able to make it, but it turned out okay. The kids had a good time decorating their houses and snowmen ice cream cones, and then they all went outside to play. When they were outside they had a surprise visitor.... Santa Shane. Shane dressed up as Santa Clause and played outside with the kids. It was a huge hit, even with how deformed Shane actually looked. *smile*
After the party Ms. Lauren gave Hannah a sweet present. Hannah loves it. She has been using it ever since. She loves to write and draw. What a perfect gift. Thank you Lauren. Cari, thank you for helping with all the gingerbread house assembly and cleaning up afterwards. You are awesome! Have a Merry Christmas Everyone.
