Snow day

Our first snow for 2011. The kids were so excited about getting to miss school and play in the snow. It was so nippy out though. The weather was in the teens and it was windy. They played outside for about 40 minutes and were ready to get back in. The snow was really compacted as well and was not very good for snowballs or snowmen which the kids really wanted to make. Later in the afternoon we took them to the big hill and did some sledding. Daddy only lasted about 15 minutes for that. He left his hat at the house and he was freezing.
Note* Liam was NOT actually in the snow. He was still inside the house (warm), but just in front of the open door to get a picture of him with snow in the background.
