Snow Day #2

We woke up at 4 am to the electricity going off. It got cold mighty fast that morning. It came back on about 6 and then shut back off about 6:45 and then didnt come back on until about 11. Our house temp got below 40 degrees. I imagine if we didn't have a wood burning fireplace it would have gotten ALOT colder. We all wrapped up in blankets and sat around the fire. I found our old portable dvd player and thankfully it had a little battery power. The kids got to watch about 1 hour worth of Kit Kitredge an American Girl. This kept them happy and warm. Ha! We did not go out and play today since daddy was not home with us and Liam did not need to be outside. We watch way to many movies. I will admit, but everyone was going crazy. Mommy was still sick and did not feel like dealing with the chaos. We had a good day all in all. When daddy got home we conveinced him we needed to go to Chilis to eat. They had FREE kids meals. Who can pass that up when you have three big kids. Not us. We braved the icy roads and went to eat. It was super packed. We waited an hour for our table. We saw the Roberts family and got to experience one of their friends throw up all over the floor as they were leaving. We were sitting right next to them, so that kind of spoiled our appetite. Thankfully we were almost done anyways.
