Saturday night Hailey went to her friend Rachels "Fantastic Sleepover". We already planned for Madi to come sleepover with Hannah so that the "big" girls could enjoy their sleepover without a tag a long sister :) When we were switching kids Sophia got so upset because she wanted to go to Haydens house. She broke Shanes heart. So, Hayden got to have his first sleepover with his best friend Sophie. The kids wanted to go to McDonalds (of course), so we went and ate and let the kids play for awhile. Hayden and Sophie were jumping on EVERYTHING and Hayden eventually hurt his leg. We thought we might be taking him in, but it turned out alright. After MC-D's we went back home and the kids played and then watched a movie and ate popcorn. We put the kids to bed about 9:15 since the next day was church. Sophie and Hayden were asleep quick, but Madi and Hannah gave us a little trouble. Hannah ended up in her room, Sophie and Madi on the sleeper couch, and Hayden in his room of course. We didn't let Hayden and Sophie sleep in the same bed, or room and they were not so happy about that.
Hailey had a blast at Rachels Party. They went and got their nails done, went to Golden Corral for dinner and ate a lot of desserts, went swimming late at night, danced with glow in the dark necklaces/bracelets, and I dont know what else. They went to bed at 1 am. I "think" that is the longest Hailey has ever stayed up, other than our vacations or something. The next morning they watched a new movie Rachel got for her b-day, ate cookie cake for breakfast, and went swimming all before we picked her up for church. She was so exhausted. She fell asleep in the car about 3:30 and slept until 6:45, ate dinner, took a bath and went right back to bed.
Thanks Rachel for having Hailey over. She said it was one of the funnest parties she has been
too.
PS> Sunday morning, I went to take a shower and shane was being helpful by doing some laundry, but was also in charge of keeping an eye on the kids.... I got out and went to check on Hayden and Sophie and they were sitting on the floor in his room with nail polish EVERYWHERE. Sophie was putting it on her lips like lip stick and Hayden was hiding his behind his back. I asked them why they got the nail polish out, and Hayden yanks his hands from hiding, smiles and says, "I a GIRL!!" and shows me his newly painted fingernails. :) 3 year olds.... oh my goodness!
