Summer t-ball at the YMCA is starting back up here in a few days. We got lucky, and even though Hayden would not be two until AFTER his first game, they said he could still play. We were so excited, and so was Hayden. We went tonight to the parents meeting and got to meet his coach - Coach Holmes. Also, Haydens team is going to be the A's, so after the meeting we went to Academy and picked up some baseball pants, and socks. Hayden was not going to let us walk out of the store without socks, so we ended up getting gold ones today because they were out of his size in the green that we needed. Hayden also decided he wanted to wear his pants, and socks out of the store. This was interesting, but we managed to get it done without any issues. We drove back home, and our little slugger wanted to play some ball. So, we headed out to the backyard and played some t-ball. He loves to hit, run and "slide" back in. After a good evening, it was bed time. He did not want to take his pants or socks off, so he got a special night, and went to bed without a bath. Ugh! Dirty, I say. He was happy. I didn't want to spoil the excitement in the little guys eyes. :) We are so excited about getting to watch him play. Hurry up, let the first game get here.
