Hayden and his Best Friend, Sophia, celebrated their third birthdays together this year. Sophie's birthday is actually May 21st, but we decided to have a joint party for them. Hayden was so excited. He loves his friend Sophie. He calls her "My Sophie". Sharing his party with her only made it even more special. Hayden wanted a Monster Truck Party and Sophie wanted Care Bears. Let's just say this is an interesting mix of themes, but I think so cute. Shane was able to get Rock - N- Roll Offroad to come out with their "Monster Truck". They are a awesome group of guys. We wanted to pay them to come out, but the owner was like, "Are you kidding me. How old is the birthday boy?" We told him three, and he said, "Man, I will come out for free. That is cool. Can I bring stickers for the kids?" He wanted to bring shirts too, but his kid ones were not in yet. So, we had a Monster Truck come out and let the kids sit in the back and look around. Hayden and Sophie standing up next to the truck is equivalent to an adult standing next to a REAL monster truck. Crazy! With it being the weekend RIGHT AFTER school let out, we did not have a big turn out. But, we had a GREAT party. So many friends wanted to be there, but called and said they were going on vacation, etc. Summer partys are not as easy. Hayden and Sophie didn't even care. They would have been super excited with it just being mommy and daddy. Happy Birthday to my Big Three Year Old. We Love You!
