Jack-O-Lantern

Sunday Night we stayed up "Late" and let the kids do our annual pumpkin carving. Normally each kid gets their own to design, but this year I waited too long to buy them and they didn't have ANY good ones left. So, we only carved one. I imagine Shane was happy about that though. *smile*
You will notice the kids patiently waited for daddy to put the top off of the pumpkin. Once he got the top off, Hannah jumped in and started pulling out the insides. She has never had an issue with how it felt. Hailey, as usual, took a bit and then she decided to join in. Hayden repeated over and over how "yucky" it was, but finally he started to help as well. Each time he pulled his hand out he would make sure we knew it was yucky and then he would wipe it all over and start over. Hailey drew three sketches on how she thought we should do the pumpkin, and we voted on them. We ended up doing square eyes, diamond nose, and a jagged smile. She claims it would be real "SCARY", and would scare everyone when they came to our house. I guess we will see.
