What a great morning! Hannah had her Turkey Trot at school, and Hayden and I got to be there to cheer her on. She did great. She ran 25 laps. That was one lap more than Hailey. Yes, normally Hailey is a better runner at this age, but she was not into the fast running during the Turkey Trot - which is fine. It is all fun! I am just glad they have fun! Hannah was excited and had a great time. Her class was called Miss Irwins TCU fans. They tye dyed their shirts and Hannah wore purple shoestrings and a bow to accessorise - my little princess. It was suppose to rain all day Friday, and started to sprinkle 5 minutes before set up time, but God allowed it to hold off until about 6 minutes AFTER Hayden and I got back home. Yippee!!!

Turkey trot - Hailey
Her hat kept falling off, but she didn't want me to hold it. Silly girl!
Drink break! She was thirsty!

Hailey and Sophia - her new buddy this year

"Mrs. Portugals Powerful Pandas"
Hailey only ran 24 laps this year. (which was still awesome) She was not really into running. They also played silly running games. Told them to walk backwards, skip, etc, so that also slowed her down a bit. It was fun to watch though and she had a great time. Hayden was a bit beat by the time we started watching Hailey. He wanted to run with them, but it was too wild. I knew he would get trampled.
Way to go Hailey!!!
Family Day
Monday, the girls were out of school for Veterans Day, so Shane took off as well. Over the weekend everyone was a little under the weather - and SUPER busy, with sports, birthdays, etc. So, Monday we had a family fun day. We went down to the green hill, set up our volleyball net and played a family game. Then we rode bikes and Hannah and Hayden practiced riding down the grass hill with no training wheels. Guess who can officially ride without their training wheels??? HAYDEN!!! Woo Hoo!! Go big boy!!
Hannah and Hayden were buddies today. She read him lots of books and just loved all over him. She is such a great big sister (when she wants to be) :) It was a great day. I love days when we can just focus on the family without all the other distruptions.
Football
Hayden told us the other day that he wants to play football now. We informed him that he has to be 4 to play flag football. So, he is paitently waiting until he can play. We play catch everyday at home. He is getting really good. We already knew he could throw, but catching was a little off. He is catching 2 out of three pretty much most of the time. Woo Hoo! Shane is sure a proud Daddy. And he even is proud to sport Daddies team - Chiefs!!
Blastball Party
Wednesday, Hayden had his blastball Party at Double Daves Pizza. I unfortunately had the wrong lens on my camera, so this was the only picture I was able to get. I had to walk way down a hallway in order to even capture it, and Hayden was not in a picture mood.
His coach bought the team their food, thank goodness since my crazy boy only ate wo bites of salad and then he just wanted to play games. He was so excited about his trophy. It is really cool. After the picture, he ran straight over to the games (trophy in hand), and immediately came back crying. When he ran up to the games, his trophy bumped the game and broke. Coach had some extras, so Hayden was happy again. So was Mommy and Daddy. It was too cool of a trophy.
What a great season, and an awesome coach. Thanks David!!! Way to go Cardinals!

Baptism Lunch celebration at BJ's
Sweet Victoria :)
After the Baptism and Church service we headed over to BJ's for a Lunch Celebration. I was so shocked at how many people were at the Baptism and the Lunch. We had 53 people at the Baptism and 40 who were able to come eat with us. It is so heartwarming to know so many people care about your family. We had a great time visiting and eating with everyone. By the time we got home at 3:30, we were exhausted. And took a 2 hour much needed nap so we could be re-energized for trick or treating.
Family
I didn't do the best job at getting all the pictures that I would have liked to have gotten, but I am just so excited about how many special friends and family that we have.
