Four Special Years

Hayden just turned FOUR years old. I can not believe how fast time has flown with my special guy. He is weighing in at 46 pounds and 42 inches tall. He is 95% for weight and 75% height. BIG, let me tell you :) Wears a 11-12 shoe.

He loves to run. Everything is about "look how fast I can go". You know, special shoes make you run super fast, right? Well, they do, and Hayden has a lot of those special shoes. His favorite shoes are Vans. He loves his skate shoes. They are special in several ways... they make you run super fast and they are SKATE shoes. You know we love skateboarding in our family.

Hayden loves to play baseball and we believe he is pretty darn good. He is starting to hit balls being thrown to him. He prefers to play this way as well. The tee isn't as much fun in his opinion. No matter what position he is playing during the game, he runs full speed to field the ball. He has gone from third base all the way out to right field to get the ball. They haven't learned full positions yet at 3 and 4, so I am proud that he will go for the ball and not just stand there. When he was 2-3, he would dog pile with the other kids to get the ball, now, if someone else beats him to it, he turns around and runs back to his position. Pretty neat. He loves the Rangers and going to games with Daddy! Other than baseball, his favorite thing about the game is getting a Chilly. He loves his Lemon Chill.

Hayden loves to be near his sisters. They normally don't want him in there room, but when they do, he is one happy boy! Hannah is his best friend, he says. They are really close when they are having good days. It melts my heart. Hayden has a very tender heart, and sensitive to other people. He loves to hold hands with his friends and sisters. When his best friend, Sophia, is upset or heart, he is so concerned and will pat her back, or tell her he loves her and everything is going to be okay. With that said, Hayden is a wild one. He loves to wrestle and fight with Daddy. It tends to get out of control, as he has a lot of strength and actually hurts you. He has no fear whatsoever. He will try anything, and even if he gets hurt, he will get back up and try it again. Hayden loves church and learning about Jesus. He will sing songs all day about Jesus and even makes some up. It is cute. He will ask every other day if we get to go to church tomorrow. He makes sure he has his bible and offering each Sunday morning! He loves to sing and dance, especially when the girls are dancing to their music. He loves his cars, trains, stuff animals, super heroes, and dressing up. His current favorite is Optimus Prime- transformer. His is a great big brother, and loves helping with Liam. It is cute watching him change his diaper. Hayden loves playing outside, and getting dirty. Best friend is Sophia Weaver. He likes clothes. Doesnt know or care if things "match", but likes to get new clothes and shoes. Loves telling stories with Daddy before bed. Has to have his stories, lots of hugs and kisses, and several potty breaks before going to sleep. Does not like daddy being gone. Will ask every night if he goes to work the next day. We have one very special four year old. Happy Birthday Hayden. We love you!
