After all the girls left the morning after Hailey's birthday party, we all got dressed and headed to the Haltom City Senior Center to serve lunch. It is part of a ministry our church does. The kids loved getting to serve the elderly. Hailey even enjoyed TRASH duty. How many 7 year olds want to do that. Hannah met a lady named, Sarah, and the lady told her she would make her a blue kitchen towel for our house. She told us to come back next week and she would give it to her. After serving lunch, we walked around and visited with everyone. It was a great experience for the kids, and we can't wait to go back.
After the Senior Center Lunch, we headed home for naps. Then around 6 the Weaver kids came over while their parents went out on a birthday date. The kids always have a blast with their Weaver buddies! And we had a great time with Eli. He is a character and loves toy story just like Hayden. The kids went to bed about 10:30 and Sarah and Nick picked them up about 11 -11:30. It was a great, yet busy day.
