Pictures to come later as well......
This year Hannah finally decided upon a Princess Belle Birthday Party. She really wanted to be able to invite all her friends, so we finally came up with the idea of having Princess Belle come to our house. Hannah was so excited that so many of her friends from school were able to make it. She sure does love her Discovery School friends. Her two best friends Lauren and Camdyn (the three Musketeers) were able to come, and of course her "boy-friend" Donovan was able to make it, along with many others. She was just thrilled that these three were there. She is so good at making friends.
Mrs. Cari took lots of great pictures for me - thank you Cari, you made the party so much more relaxing.
Princess Belle came and played games with the kids, did a treasure hunt (each kid got to take some treasures home with them), read a princess story, then she did face painting and balloon animals. The kids all really had a good time. We had cake and chocolate covered strawberries and then the kids all went out in the back to play. This is always the favorite. We might as well just have parties and let the kids play. So much cheaper. *smile*
back to the strawberries. We opened 5 packs of nice, red, and ripe strawberries and I didn't get a single one. They were eaten quick. Hmmm, maybe we will be using the chocolate fountain more often. Big hit!! The kids got chocolate covered strawberries for Valentines Day from Uncle Tim. They were so delicious, and HUGE!!! So, when asked what she wanted for her birthday, Hannah said, "chocolate covered strawberries". So, that is exactly what she got.
Anyways, our baby girl had a great birthday party. Thank you everyone that came and made her day super special.
On Hannahs REAL birthday, she was woken up with a cupcake and a candle. She always loves this. We have been doing it for years. What a treat to get to eat pure sugar for breakfast. She chose to go to school on her birthday so she could celebrate with her friends. She look candied suckers that we made for all her friends. That night after Hailey's volleyball meeting we took her to eat at the restraunt of her choice. Can you guess what it was????
McDonalds!!! Yep...... we ate and played and then got into bed about 9. She thought this was a great day. I do too.
