Family Pictures

Familiy pictures with Granny - minus one! I took two pictures of my cousin Christy and her family and neither one are now on my camera. I can't imagine what I did.

Granny's 85th B-day Celebration-continue

#1 Granny's great grand kids - 11
#2 Our Loving Family (we miss you and love you Papa and Uncle Johnny)
#3 Hannah's beloved frog. She was so sad we couldn't take it home. She really wants a frog. Maybe for her birthday. Can a 5 year old be responsible for a frog?
#4 Happy Birthday Granny - We love you!
#5 The kids digging for worms *note hannah carrying the cup with her worms*
I have officially decided that all we need to entertain our kids are balls, dirt, water and live animals, bugs and plants (with berries). They spent the entire evening digging for worms, playing in the creek and getting extremely muddy, playing with balls, catching frogs and playing jokes on each other with food. The girls hid a pickle in a cupcake that they gave to their cousin Colt.

Granny's 85th B-day Celebration

We went out to Gary and Lisa's House out in Acton today to celebrate Granny's 85th Birthday. I was so happy EVERYONE was able to come, even Justin and his girlfriend, Misti. It was a lot of fun.
#1 The kids enjoyed playing down at the creek and in the rain. They found lots of frogs.
#2 & 3 Hayden was in his element. They live on a golf course, so he found lots of missing golf balls. And he got to play football with Daddy and Cousin Hunter. He enjoyed running to tackle daddy when he got the ball.
#4 Hayden and the girls saw a duck and were super excited because it didn't run from us like most ducks. Once we told them not to touch it because it might bite, Hannah and Hailey were no longer interested. It didn't stop Hayden though. At least not until the duck tried to eat his shoes. Hayden was not excited about that.
#5 The girls loved playing with Ally Grace. They were like the 3 musketeers.

Calloways Nursery Fall Festival

Great Weather and a Fun Day!!
#1 Ooey Gooey Slime!!! Can't go wrong with that with my boy.
#2 Pumpkin decorating - another favorite of all three.
#3 Cheesing for the camera. Does our family have deformed feet and legs? HA! JK!

Potty Head

friday night fun

Friday night Hailey went to a sleepover at one of her friends houses, so we took Hannah and Hayden to the BPE Texas Carnival.
#1 Hayden couldn't wait to go. He was running all over the house and proudly sporting his cowboy hat.

#2 Hannah tried "really" hard to rope the cow. I am so proud of her for trying. She normally doesn't like these games.

#3 Stick horse race. Look at Hannah go. Yee Haw!

#4 As you can see, Hayden was super excited. He picked out overalls, his hat, and of course a suit jacket (just like daddy). I actually just bought the jacket at a sale today and was trying it on to see if it even fit. It is a bit big, but he did not want to take it off. He said, " No, I daddy". I guess that means he wanted to look like daddy. So, he was shirtless, in overalls, tall white socks, brown shoes, cowboy hat, baseball sunshades and of course a suit jacket. HA! Gotta love the style.

The Joys of having a boy...

Thursday night at the dinner table, Hayden strips off his underpants. I know it might sound gross to have your two year old sitting booty naked at the table, but at that time it was the least of my worries. YES, I allowed it. A little bit later, as Shane and I were discussing some issues, we look over to see Hayden standing up in his chair with his hand behind him on his booty. As we start to get onto him, he pulls his hand out, along with a piece of turkey that he was wiping his hiney with. It doesn't end there... as I went to get the turkey from him, he starts laughing and sticks it into his mouth and eats it. Yuck! He then goes and tries to do it again. This time the turkey did not go into his mouth, although it did go straight onto my floor.

Thank goodness his hiney was clean. I sure love my boy.
