Special Teachers

Mr. Kevin *Hailey's teacher at church* - He gave her a dozen roses

Mrs. Marsha - Hannah's teacher at church

Miss. Irwin *Hannah's Kindergarten teacher*

Such a special day

The girls were FREEZING!!!
Hailey:
Hailey asked Jesus into her heart on February 18, 2008. But about 2 months ago she said she was ready to follow in Jesus' footsteps and be baptized. We were so excited. Hailey does not like for people to "watch" her, so getting baptized was a big step for her.

Hannah:
Hannah asked Jesus into her heart on July 18, 2010. She was wanting to get baptised immediately, but Mrs. Becky Dome asked Daddy if he would be interested in doing it. After much research and prayer, Daddy knew it was something special for him and something he really wanted to do. We waited for the right time and October 31st just happened to be that day.

We have prayed for our kids to get saved sinced the day they were born, so this was such an emotional and joyful day. We pray that they will always be warriors for Christ!

We love you girls!

Mrs. Becky told Hannah that the day she asked Jesus into her heart that the angels had a party. I bet on October 31st, 2010 they had even more of a celebration. I know we sure did.

The stash

As you can see, the Estes Household has way to much candy in hand, and this is only what we got on Halloween night. I have a chocolate weakness, so we are definitely going to be getting rid of all the chocolate, or I will be gaining 20 pounds. Seriously! I gain that quickly too on my medicine.
Hayden has counted his candy about 8-10 times today. I think he might have thought if he counted it more, he might have more chances to get a piece. HA!! He also wants me to smell EVERY piece. My stomache hurts just thinking about it. It was making me sick. I finally had to take the fun away and hide the pumpkin. My stomache couldnt handle anymore smelling. The kids sure love going trick or treating, but I wish they got more playdough and stuff instead of all the candy.

Trick or Treating

We have had a BUSY Halloween... Family fun weekend, Girls Baptism and lunch with friends and family, and a much needed nap. We woke up from our nap just in time for our cousins -Carolyn, Eddie and Riley- to arrive to go trick or treating. We quickly got the kids dressed, and out the door we went. We went all around our neighborhood. The kids got sooo much candy. I get sick just thinking about it. We all had a good time, and I am thankful we got to spend Rileys first trick or treating with him. He is so cute- perfect costume Carolyn.... a little monkey.
