Look who got groomed!!! Silly looking, YES!! But oh my goodness... SO much better!!!

We took the kids to Mountasia for a Family Fun Day!! Between mini golf, a million go-cart rides, kiddie coaster rides, video games, candy, and batting cages, I think we had a lot of fun!!! Finished the night up with some dinner and a late night in bed. Hayden and Hannah both did AWESOME in the batting cages. Hannah hit most of her balls and Hayden hit quite a few. He was too short to hit most of them. Ha. He tried really hard. Great swings.

Oh my goodness! I love this little boy SO much!!

I think the kids LOVE me. What do you think???? Even Liam tried to make me a heart. My Sweet Angels!!

Hannahs Testing

Hannah went to Cook Childrens for a 24 hr EEG testing and MRI. She HATES these tests and I really hated that she had to go through it again. Within the first hour or two there she was brought a "Prayer Bear" and a pillow. She named her first prayer bear Strawberry Shortcake, because he/she is pink. They even wrapped his/her head up just like Hannahs and gave S.S.C EEG wires as well. At Hannahs request of course. Within the first 30 minutes they were able to diagnose Hannah with Absent Epilepsy as she had over 10 seizures during that time. They continued to monitor her for 24 hrs and she continued having them. Poor baby. She had no clue she was having them though, so it could be a lot worse. The next morning she got all the wires off, and was able to take a shower. She had an allergic reaction to the stuff they use to take the goo and wires off. Thankfully her face just got blotchy and red and nothing more serious. It went away within the hr. The prayer bear lady came by again with yet ANOTHER bear for Hannah. She was so excited to now have two new teddy bears. Later, Hannah was prepped and sent off for her MRI to make sure nothing was causing the seizures on her brain. She was ready to go and understood what was going to be happening..... Put to sleep with the giggle juice/laughing gas so they could take pictures of her brain. The crazy anesthesiologist had to mention they would be giving her an IV for the meds AFTER she was asleep. This of course set Hannah off. She hates IVs as they are always difficult in her tiny veins. And in her mind, she feels things even when she is alseep :( Poor baby. I had to watch her scream, kick and cry out of pure fear while they forced her to breath the bubblegum flavored gas. It is one thing to watch your baby be sedated when they are happy, but she had huge alligator tears and was so scared. Ugh!! Thankfully she woke up happy and didnt remember much about it anyways. After the MRI, Hannah woke up to eat a popsicle, got really sick and then slept for hours. She was one wiped out little girl. She finally woke up and ate lunch about 3 pm and was able to hold it down, so we were able to get discharged around 5:30 or so. She was so ready to leave, and honestly so was I. I am glad I was able to be at the hospital with her, but I had a major migraine the whole time I was there. It was not fun!!! Hannah is now taking 5 ml of Zarontin 2X day and it is controlling her seizures. She went in for a follow up test 3 weeks later and it was all clear. Thank you JESUS for taking care of my baby girl!!!

Pebbles Preschool Valentines Parties

I went to both of the boys Valentines Parties at school. Liams class made valentine puppet crafts, had valentine cookies and fruit and passed out their special treats to their friends. Haydens class played games, made a craft, had cookies, candy and other treats and passed out their valentines to their friends. It was a good time for all!!! Two sugar rushed children for sure.
