Selena Gomez

Hailey's best Friend from school, Madison Flynt, invited her to go with them to a Selena Gomez concert the day after Thanksgiving. Hailey was sooooo excited. She wanted to get ready that morning even though she wasnt leaving until 5. She took her camera and her own money with her. I was so proud of the pictures she took. I think she did pretty good for a 7 year old sitting pretty far back in the Theatre with a bunch of tall people in front of her :) She bought a cookie and a bottle of water for 8 dollars. Crazy! She had the time of her life. She got home that night about 10:30 with a chocolate sunday in hand and a big smile on her face. She told us all about her night and we finally got her in bed about 11:15 :) My baby is growing up toooooo fast.

Cranberry Sauce

HAYDEN LOVES CRANBERRY SAUCE!!

He carried this can around all day until I finally let him eat it. Crazy boy!

Carolyn and Eddie invited us over this year for Thanksgiving at their house. It was so nice not having to host at our house, although we love getting together with family and friends. Almost all of my family (dads side) was there, minus my own mom, dad, bro and papa. They stayed back with my grandfather. We missed them, but with that said Papa Floyd needs family with him as well. Shane and I were in charge of making the Watergate (green salad), Pecan Praline Sweet Potatoes, and brocolli and Rice Casserole. The entire meal was amazing. Carolyn you are awesome!!! We had a great time visiting with the family and getting to play with Riley. The girls loved getting to play on all of Alissas electronics. We didnt do much, but we had a great, relaxing Thanksgiving.

Diapers

We have been officially 100% diaper free for one and a half weeks (until February that is) ; )

Hayden has probably been ready to go without diapers at nighttime for a while, but we havent tried to make the change. Until 1 1/2 weeks ago. We put him to bed that night in underwear and he woke up dry and excited. So, we have been diaper free since. He tells me every morning "I'm dry Mommy!" Yah Hayden.

We have officially gotten our children through the diapers and bed rail stages. It has only been almost 8 years... ;) And here we are about to start over AGAIN!! Love it, and can not wait. If you haven't already said it, you can officially say the ESTES household is going to be a MADHOUSE, with all of Gods Children. What could possibly be any better?

Aqua Kids Party

Hannah and Rebecca - Hannah always makes crazy faces, while her friends smile pretty for the camera. Oh, what a silly girl :)

I told her to smile for this one. :)

Practicing swimming on her back

Hannah and Ivie being silly
Ivie, Rebecca and Hannah - preschool buddies

Saturday Hannah was invited to her friend, Rebecca, from preschools 6th Birthday Party at Aqua Kids. Turns out the whole family was invited to come. They got to swim for 1 1/2 hours straight. My kids all know how to swim now, but man, 1 1/2 hours of straight swimming requires a little supervision. Hannah never had any issues, but she sure scared Shane and I. I am not sure if she was just playing or not. She never would exactly tell us. We made her rest a few times and she was not happy about that. They had a great time. My kids LOVE being in the pool. I think Hannah is even going to be having her party there as well. A few months ago both girls wanted their b-days there, but I think Hailey has decided on a smaller party with only a few close friends. Works for me :)
Oh and lets say hayden had a few months worth of junk food. He ate like we havent fed him in months. Chicken, pizza, cookies, cake, COKE (that was all that they had for drinks), candy and people kept trying to give him more. He was told no more coke after 1 1/2 FULL cups and someone snuck another full cup of orange soda to him. Hmmmm, not sure they understand why we tell our kids NO! Hayden doesnt normally get soda. He is hyper enough without it. All is good. He went straight to sleep that night. No problems, thank goodness.
Fun Parties!!! Need a break though. This was the 6th party in the past 4 weeks that we WENT to. Note - WENT to, not INVITED too. We were invited to more, but had to draw the line at some. Crazy!!
