MS 150 Bike Ride - Team RIDE 41

Go baby Go!!!
Where's Shane???

The kids waiting for Daddy to get everything ready and to head over to the starting line.

On May 2nd Shane rode in HIS first MS 150 bike ride. We woke up at 4:30 and loaded the kids in the car and drove out to Frisco to see him at the starting line. The kids thought this was so cool. We got donuts for breakfast (the girls favorite). Shane rode 86 miles from the DR PEPPER Ballpark in Frisco to the Texas Motor Speedway. He kicked butt. We are not for sure the exacts, but he finished in the top 10 -15 percent. Pretty good for a first timer, huh? There was about 3 -4 thousand people riding. It was crazy seeing all the bikes. Hayden was in heaven. He loves EVERY kind of bike. We are so proud of you Sweety. Good Job!
Oh yah, Shane is already planning his next ride in July in Midland Texas. I think he found sometime he really enjoys. I thought after this ride he would be done, but I was wrong. He wants to continue riding. I guess it is better than having a husband who is gone everyday golfing or something. His workouts are normally done when we are sleeping or something.

Sweet kids!

I love my three sweet babies :) Aren't they adorable??

Happy Birthday Madeline and Sophia

Hannah loves her Madeline

Madi, Hannah, Rachel, Hailey , and two other little girls

Look at my big boy! Once he figured it out there was NO stopping him.

Last weekend we went to Madeline (Madi) and Sophia (toties) birthday party at Leapin Lizards. It was such a crazy day. The kids got up at 4:30 that morning to watch daddy at the starting line for the MS 150 bike ride. Then we went straight to the party. The kids behaved really well. Hayden got a little cranky about 11:45 during presents. Other than that, they were GREAT.
The kids got to spend 30 minutes in the jump houses, and then they headed to the Rock Star room to dress up, get their hair fixed and put on makeup. Later they had a fashion show and got to model their outfits. They all had a lot of fun. Hayden liked dancing on the stage, and singing with the microphone. Boys are so funny and so much fun. He was definitely the star of the show to me. ; ) He even put on a pink hat and necklace. No pictures to prove it though. He knew daddy wouldn't approve so he wouldn't stand still so I could take the picture. Smart boy!!!

Unhappy Sleepy Boy...

This is what you call a VERY Unhappy and Sleepy little boy!!

Happy Birthday Lauren

Today we went to Lets Pretend Tea Parties in Grapevine to celebrate Hannah's friend, Lauren's, 4th Birthday. The girls had a great time. Hayden had fun playing in the bubble machine too :) Surprisingly, Hannah does not like Tea. She likes every other kind of drink, but not tea. Hailey wouldn't even try the tea. She said her daddy wouldn't like her drinking it, so she wasn't going too. Smart girl, although Daddy wouldn't have minded for the party. It was only like an ounce if that anyways. They got to parade down Main Street and wave to all the people walking and driving by. Hannah thought this was pretty cool.
Thank you Lauren for inviting us to your party. We ALL had a great time. Happy Birthday Sweet Girl!

After Laurens party we went to eat at La Madelines. Yummy! The kids didn't care for it though :( And they were out of Tuna! How can you possibly be out of tuna? Oh well.

Then we headed home for a 30 minute nap before Shane and the girls headed back out to Wills birthday. We unfortunately don't have any pictures from this event :( The kids had a ton of fun playing games, riding the roller coaster and the go carts. This was Hailey's first time to be able to drive the go-carts by herself. She loved it and Daddy said she did a GREAT job. Way to go Hays. What a busy day. We winded down by doing a few crafts and watching Wall E.
Happy Saturday!!!

Hannah Neuro Appt

Wednesday was a BUSY day. I had an appointment at 10 that morning, and then we took Hannah to her 12:30 therapy in Arlington. Immediately after walking out the door we headed to her Neuro appt which was at 3:30. We still dont have any news. Just from looking at her, the doctor doesnt think she has a seizure disorder, but he obviously cant be sure without proper testing. We are currently awaiting a call from the nurses at down town Cook Childrens to schedule a 24 hour EEG and Video Monitoring. She will have to be admitted to the hospital for this. And then hopefully immediately after being released she can go straight to her MRI. I am praying we are able to get a weekend appt so that Shane doesnt have to take off work and can be around to take shifts :)
Thank you for all the prayers. We will keep everyone updated.
